Meadowmist Morgans is a small family owned and operated breeding program dedicated to promoting and preserving the Morgan horse breed for future generations to love and enjoy.
We believe that the Morgan horse is an extraordinary breed of horse and to further the development of the breed is a sacred trust that must not be broken. To that end we believe that any breeding endeavor must be done with one goal in mind—to improve the breed in every aspect including conformation, breed characteristics, temperament and intelligence.
We further believe that a breeding operation must be focused on quality and not quantity of offspring produced. Top quality mares bred to top quality stallions with top quality care will produce beautiful, healthy, well-adjusted animals that will serve their owners well.
We finally believe that by bringing a horse into the world we bear a lifelong responsibility to assure that horse has the proper care and training to be a successful and productive companion animal for their lifetime.
